Po Pazzo
“Po Pazzo” in Italian means a little crazy. No, Po Pazzo is not a name of a song by Kevin Federline, but is actually a Little Italy restaurant that definitely stands out from the rest, mainly because the name is the most Italian thing about it. A brainchild of famed local restaurateur Busalacchi, this restaurant offers an array of dishes that straddle multiple continents, but are of course universally tasty. The wine and liquor bar at Po Pazzo is huge with an array of different flavors from everywhere around the world. The best appetizers Po Pazzo has to offer may just be the stuffed globe artichoke, with goat, blue, and fontina cheeses, garlic and sun-dried tomatoes, or the crab-stuffed crepes in a tomato cream sauce. The "Surf and Turf" is known as a San Diego staple, and Po Pazzo’s is superb. So is the lightly breaded sea bass. The portions are known for being To round out the night, you won’t regret finishing with the caramelized pear tart in a sweet pastry shell. Po Pazzo also offers great music and entertainment. The staff at Po Pazzo is very friendly and always around to help make suggestions. The ambiance of this restaurant is definitely something to note. The room has dim lighting and there is always quiet chatter around that gives off an understated lively feeling. It’s also really easy to make reservations online, so you never have to worry about waiting on hold on the phone for hours. Come on in and expect a meal fit for a king.
