New to Banker’s Hill is Pizzicato, a casual but gourmet pizza concept that prides itself on making everything from scratch. The produce is local, many cheeses come from Italy, and the olive oil comes straight from Greece. The secret to their dough is all in the kneading and overnight resting to make it chewy and crunchy to taste and texture perfection. The San Diego Pizzicato menu offers everything from Thai and New Yawk Cheese pizzas to Arugula and Ripe Pear salads and Tuscan Meatball Hero sandwiches. A unique menu find is the Al Pesto with Shrimp pizza, including garlic marinated shrimp, sun-dried tomatoes and mozzarella cheese on a homemade pesto base.
