Hillcrest’s Pizza Fusion is the first LEED-certified restaurant in San Diego and is taking big, noble strides for a relatively small business. Next time you’re craving pizza, go green at Pizza Fusion. San Diego is the third location in California, and Pizza Fusion also has stores nationwide.

Added 01/22/09 Best Gluten-Free Pizza!

If you have a gluten-tolerance issue, this place makes the best gluten-free crust I have ever eaten. I tried many a non-gluten products and crusts before, and they all did not taste like the real thing. You will not be disappointed or feel like you are missing out on anything with their gluten-free pizza. AND they deliver!!!! Best pizza in town...fresh...favorable be it gluten or not!

Added 11/26/08 Best thin crust everrrr!!

While not a culinary expert, I might call myself a connoisseur of pizza and what I tasted here was at the top of my list of best pizzas ever! The crust was flaky and perfectly toasted, not crunchy, dry or chewy. The toppings were intensely flavorful, fresh and moist (I had my favorite concoction, pepperoni and pineapple), and the wine pairing that the eager-to-please server suggested was excellent.

The pizza wasn't good at all, especially for the price you pay. I prefer Whole Foods pizza.
