This gorgeous neighborhood restaurant has all the trimmings a good Tuscan outlet should have. A beautiful Tuscan-style fountain trickles pleasantly as you dine underneath the umbrella of their Ficus tree.
Start your meal off with a delicious Fritto Misto, prepared with mixed calamari, rock shrimp and locally grown vegetables, served with lemon aioli. Then move on to their classic Caesar salad, tossed with whole leaf romaine, Caesar dressing, croutons, parmesan cheese and anchovies.
Move on to try an illustrious pasta dish of Agnolotti di Zucca, half moon shaped pasta filled with roasted butternut squash, ricotta and parmesan in walnut sage cream sauce. Not in the mood for pasta? Then try the veal picatta, made with thin slices of veal sautéed with capers, lemon parsley and white wine served with mushroom risotto cakes and sautéed spinach.
Whatever Italian dish you’re looking for, you’re bound to find it at Piatti!
I've been to Piatti at least 15 times now and I've ordered almost everything on the menu. This is by far the best italian restaurant I've ever been to, and I've grown up eating at hundreds of different places all over the world. Not only are the menu items great, but the bread and dipping sauce is amazing in and of itself. The servies there is waiting on you hand and foot, always refilling your water. I would definately say that you need to put this on your list of things you have to do.
