Pacific Beach AleHouse is known for handcrafted local beer, an eclectic menu, friendly service, and a lodge-like ambiance just steps from the boardwalk. AleHouse offers a wide variety of savory handcrafted burgers, pizzas and fresh cut fries. The diverse menu also includes specialty dishes, such as BBQ Grilled Salmon with Mango Salsa, Lobster Mac & Cheese; and Blackened Chicken Pasta. AleHouse brews eight signature beers on location and also uses their own brews in many of our dressings, sauces, batters and desserts. AleHouse features three separate dining areas, each with its own unique atmosphere and has been called “a destination for beer aficionados, tourists and locals”. You can sip a cool refreshing beer on our outdoor deck while enjoying unparalleled views of Crystal Pier and the Pacific Ocean, making for the perfect end to a long day at the beach. After watching another gorgeous San Diego sunset, feel free to cozy up to the fire pit on the outdoor patio. This legendary Pacific Beach restaurant is also great for parties and can house up to 250 people with a gigantic Brewer’s Table that can seat up to 25 guests alone. Inside you can relax with your friends on a comfortable couch or a large booth adjacent to our microbrewery. No matter where you choose to dine, you can catch the game on one of the 18 high-def flat-screen TVs. The Pacific Beach AleHouse is a perfect place to start an evening at the beach or to party late into the night.

Added 05/18/11 Beers on the rooftop

This place has a neat rooftop where you can dine. We spent some time at the beach and then made our way over here to drink some beers and have some food on the roof. I love coming here with friends because it's a nifty place to hang out and enjoy the outdoor beach air. Can be a bit pricey at times, but I think it's worth it for that once a month outing with friends.

Added 04/25/11 Beer + Ocean = Success

Nothing is better than a cold beer while relaxing on the beach, but apparently the city of San Diego isn't in total agreement. The next best thing is a relaxing beer bar right on the shore. I was impressed with the selection and plan to make the PB Alehouse a second home this summer.

This place has a killer happy hour during the week. It includes half off appetizers and $3 drinks. Their burgers are really good also. It's right next to the beach so it's the perfect location to have a drink and unwind.
