Experience Old Spain within the award winning architecture of Ole Madrid’s historic walls. Loud-mouthed paintings blare against the brightly painted walls, lit by dramatically colored lights. However, when night falls, this traditional Spanish eatery becomes one of the most popular nightclubs in the Gaslamp district. featuring Impulse, hosted by Rob Zoomy on Friday nights, and Seductive, featuring DJ Sixx every Saturday night.
Ole Madrid also offers some extremely attractive happy hour deals from 3-6pm daily. The signature sangria, made with red wine, schnapps, brandy, and fruit juices is $2.00 a glass, and margaritas available in lime or strawberry flavors, as well as Bud and Coors are also priced at $2.00. Tapas are half priced, so choose between Spanish meatballs and peppers, or artichoke hearts for under $5.00.
The multifaceted venue is still a purveyor of Spanish cuisine first and foremost. The savory dinner menu proves that Ole hasn’t forgotten its roots, and remains dedicated to quality and authenticity. The Catalan style paella, for example, is a Spanish rice dish baked in traditional paella pans with saffron rice, and add-ins of chicken, lamb, proscuitto, and chorizo sausage. Madrid Ole is a versatile setting to spend your entire night, or to enjoy just one aspect of a multitude of features.
