Nordstrom Department Store is known to provide everything for the upscale lifestyle, so why should their café be any different? The Nordstrom Café in Fashion Valley Mall is a small tucked away cafe where shoppers can recharge for second and third rounds of shopping. Conveniently located on the third floor, the Nordstrom Café has good food for decent prices and is set up cafeteria/buffet style. You grab your tray and pick from the friendly display of entrees. Food selections include roasted chicken with potato and vegetables, salmon, various healthy salads and daily soups too. Also check out the selection of freshly made sandwiches and grilled paninis. We suggest trying the time honored grilled cheese and tomato soup combination; a definite mood enhancer, as a smile will hit your face as soon as you savor the first bite of this gourmet styled childhood classic. A kid’s menu is also available, in case you have a little one in tow, complete with take home cup, placemat and crayons. Make sure to save room for yummy desserts because there is an array of cookies and pastries tempting your taste buds. Nordstrom also believes in clean and healthy ingredients, ensuring that their good-tasting food is also good for you. Like what you are tasting? Pick up the official Nordstrom Flavors cookbook, teaching you more than 100 recipes created by their executive chefs. I was in Nordstroms Saturday shopping had lunch ordered this wonderful salad with melon, green apples, bacon, cranberries it was the best purchase of the day!(LOL

I am a HUGE Nordstroms shopper, so I usually spend plenty of hours roaming through the department store, and I always get hungry. Nordstrom Cafe is so perfect because not only is it so conveniently located where I can just take a break from shopping and rest while enjoying quality food. The salads are super fresh, the soups are delightfully yummy (Tomato basil is my favorite!). Keeping with the reputation of the store, the cafe is no different in its EXCELLENT customer service. It is clean, quick and scrumptious!

Tomato soup and grilled cheese, better than Mom, or myself, could ever make it. Great place to snatch up a quick lunch during a busy day. Everything I have had here has been great, even though I usually stick to my default.
