Editorial Review of Moondoggies Restaurant

Moondoggies is a sports-themed restaurant and bar not limited to athletics of the oceanic persuasion – despite the seaside locale on the ocean’s edge of Garnet Avenue. Boasting an incredible forty-eight televisions, Moondoggies is certain to be playing your game no matter when your cravings kick in.
Daily specials like $3 build-your-own-burger Mondays and $2 you-call-it Thursdays and draw repeat visitors, even when the baseball/football/hockey season is over. The spacious garden patio is always a rollicking party, with the entrees, like chicken tequila-lime pasta and lobster tacos, feeding dedicated sports fans in the sunshine and into the night. Moondoggies also serves up bar-favorite appetizers, salads, soups, sandwiches, burgers, pizza, unique entrees, and desserts.
Moondoggies will be closing in late January for a complete remodel – stay tuned for a new face in Pacific Beach in March of 2008.

Came here because a bunch of my friends had raved about this place and I could definitely see why. However, if you're looking for something more classy and an older crowd you should probably avoid here. Moondoggies is in PB where there is a HUGE college age crowd. Moondoggies is a great sports bar with great drink specials and just a great place to catch the game with some friends while sipping on a beer or two

Other than going to the Q itself, nothing beats watching the Chargers than hanging out at good ol' Moondoggies. GO CHARGERS!!!
