Lou had an opportunity to purchase a restaurant while Mickey served in World War II; and today, Lou's son, Jeff, and Mickey's son, Sam, continue the restaurant tradition with 11 award-winning restaurants, including Lou & Mickey's, a top San Diego restaurant that serves choice seafood and prime beef.
