Attention, Akins devotees: steer clear of Lefty’s Chicago Pizzeria—and the entire windy city, for that matter. But everyone else will adore the thick, rich, deep-dish style pizza at this North Park parlor, worth every extra minute you’ll have to spend at the gym. Lefty’s is as casual as it gets, which is something to be thankful for when your face is all smeary with tomato sauce and cheese. Pizzas range from the artery-aching "meaty" pie with three varieties of meat, to the healthier veggie-laden Farmer’s Market. The menu also contains various other Chicago-style treats, like fresh-cut fries, hot dogs, and Italian subs crammed with meat and cheese.
