Lamont Street Grill
Step into Lamont Street Bar and Grill and be greeted by an interior so intimate, you won’t be surprised it used to be a house. A fireplace, small rooms and a verdant, attractive courtyard make for a charming dinner experience. The chef hasn’t changed in seventeen years, which, judging by the establishment’s long-winded success story, is a very good thing. Entrees are served with several sides and are always hot and filing. The almond-crusted halibut offers a welcome nutty crunch, and the baked salmon with feta, sun-dried tomatoes and pepperoncinis over pasta is complex and delicious. Also fantastic is the peppercorn chicken with avocado lime sauce and grilled tomatoes. Desserts, made in-house, are spectacular.
