Editorial Reivew:
With food this amazing, you may expect La Vache to be booked
for weeks, but this Hillcrest
establishment welcomes all for weekend breakfast and lunch and every day for
dinner.
For a decidedly non-continental breakfast, try the café au
lait, served the continental way in a bowl, not a cup, and one of the menu’s
many options, ranging from the traditional Croque Monsieur to the experimental,
but delicious, artichoke hearts and sun dried tomato omelette.
For dinner, indulge in the grilled salmon filet, served with
French fries, rice, potatoes, or sautéed vegetables or the traditional
Cassoulet, a mixture of white beans, sausage, pork, veal, and lamb cooked in a
provencale sauce.
On Tuesdays, enjoy a special prix fixe dinner – three
entrees for $17.95.
