The La Mesa Brigantine is a local favorite. One of six San Diego locations, The Brigantine has earned awards for ‘Best Bar,’ ‘Best Happy Hour,’ among many others. Enjoy upscale dining with a nautical twist – both seen in the décor and on the menu. Start off with a small plate like the Brigantine Shrimp Cocktail with hoseradish, Monterey Artichoke Fritters, or Ahi poke Wonton Tacos. The infamous oyster bar, crab, shrimp and lobster tails are staples at all Brigantine locations, but La Mesa customers have a ‘favorites’ section on the menu for newcomers. Fettuccine Del Mar with fresh fish and shellfish in a creamy goat cheese sauce, Walnut-Crusted Rack of Lamb and Grilled Swordfish Tacos are a few dishes frequented by East County visitors.
