Editorial Review of Kabuki Sushi

In a town of seemingly endless sushi restaurants, you have to have gimmick to distinguish yourself.  At Pacific Beach’s Kabuki Sushi – they have a gimmick, but they also have super cheap, super fresh, super good sushi.

 

What’s the gimmick, you ask?  If you choose to sit at the oval-shaped center bar at Kabuki, you’ll face a moat, filled with boats, which float the sushi directly to you.  Simply sit back, and wait for the perfect sushi roll to swim its way toward you.

Added 12/18/07 Kabuki Sushi- Best sushi in San Diego

This place could very well be the best sushi joint in San Diego. What could be more fun than grabbing your favorite sushi dishes off little boats that float by at the sushi bar? The sushi was great and the people were great. You have to try their dragon roll and make sure to grab some spicy mayo on the side. And when you thought it was over a bowl of fruity candy and lollipops will be waiting for you on your way out.
