Joe & Ernie's is owned and operated by Chula Vista natives Ernie Carrillo and Jackson Wyatt. Ernie and Jackson graduated from Hilltop High and Chula Vista High respectively, and received their degrees from San Diego State, where the idea for Joe & Ernie's Pizzeria began. Beginning in 2005, Joe & Ernie's has been providing delicious pizza, calzones, sandwiches, and salads to pizza lovers all throughout the south bay.

Joe and Ernie's offers the South Bay a one of a kind taste when it comes to pizza. Did you know that in the United States there are over 20 different regional styles of Pizza. Joe and Ernie's serves " MIDWEST " style pizza. This means a crispy yet flaky crust, a savory sauce seasoned with a special blend of herbs and spices, and toppings below the cheese to seal in flavor. To finish it off, their pizzas are "tavern cut" in strips which is the traditional way to serve this style of pie. All in all, Joe and Ernie's pizzas are not only a different pizza experience, but the tastiest around.
