J Wok
J. Wok, an Asian restaurant located at the corner of 8th and Market in San Diego, was created with a basis in the idea that great food is best served as mixture of Eastern and Western cuisine, taking its cue from the melting pot that is today’s America’s modern society J.Wok's menu utilizes authentic Asian recipes as a basis while creating inventive dishes with a distinct American sensibility. Thai, Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese and Japanese dishes can be found throughout J.Wok's menu in the form of both more traditional fare and "modern mixes." The menu is thus an Asian fusion, which allows the restaurant to cater to everybody's tastes. The low prices make J. Wok a gem in San Diego, where Asian restaurants are common but good ones are few and far between. The super-modern and young decor of the eatery makes it perfect for a casual bite during lunch hours or for dinner, and the prices are hard to beat for such high satisfaction rates. All meats used at J Wok are always fresh (never frozen) and no MSG is used in any of the food prepared there. The Korean Barebque Philly is a favorite among regulars, and the Pad Thai does not disappoint either. To top it all off, J Wok offers catering for up to 100 people, as well as speedy delivery (the whole menu is available for takeout).
