Remarkably innovative Indigo Grill takes native cuisine to a whole different level. Instead of concentrating on one region, the restaurant’s chefs fuse indigenous dishes spanning the continent, from Alaska to Oaxaca. The rich-hued interior is a merging of symbols from these countless cultures, like totem poles and Indian hieroglyphics. But it’s in the entrees where the real originality sparks. The salmon with smoked Oaxacan cheese truly unites the north and the south. The "Good Things Growing" is a vegetarian’s dream, a mélange of mouthwatering meat-free delicacies. Other delicious choices are the wild blueberry-lacquered rack of lamb, the wild mushroom ravioli, and the pecan-crusted rainbow trout. Added 01/31/08 just great!

as a new employee in the downtown area, i wandered around the first day, looking for a good place to have lunch. (i'm an eataholic)...and alas, i found Indigo Cafe. The service was by far, the best I've had in a long time, even being asked when i was leaving...if i'd like my drink "to go", pleasantly shocked, i said yes! the burger was so well seasoned and so juicy and the steak fries were nice and thick.

Added 10/25/07 Indigo Grill ... HELL YES

I am from Alaska, and ever since moving here I have had a hard time finding ethnic Alaskan cuisine. The Indigo Grill had a great Alaskan fish dish. I have gone back 2 times already and every time has been incredible.
