Editorial Review of
Hayama Restaurant
Hayama serves upscale Japanese cuisine in a contemporary space, and is often lauded for the freshness of its ingredients, vital for a sushi restaurant. Prices err on the more expensive side of moderate, but for sushi this good, it’s worth the splurge.
While most sushi bars limit their alcoholic offerings to beers and sake, Hayama boasts a full bar, which allows for intoxicating congregations. However, their sake selection is one of the most expansive in the city—none of that tasteless happy hour potion. The restaurant’s new, upbeat Red Dot Lounge is ideal for relaxing after a sushi dinner, and regularly showcases live music.
