Hash House a Go-Go
Hash House a Go-Go has been winning Best Breakfast awards for years on end, and the crowds outside its doors on weekend mornings serve as a second testament to the restaurant’s extraordinary cuisine. Dishes are medium-priced, but what you get is twice the size of what you would at any other restaurants. Portions are jaw-droppingly huge, and the flavors are beyond describing. The chefs know exactly what to pair for an out-of-this-world taste sensation. Roasted chicken and mushrooms are pairs with yellow tomatoes, basted eggs, and basil pesto cream. The smoked salmon is served with asparagus, sun-dried tomatoes, eggs and chili cream. Roasted butternut squash is stuffed with risotto, and is crowned with cornmeal-crusted rock shrimp and sun-dried tomato olive oil. The list goes on and on, breakfast, lunch, and dinner, too. For once, the wait is worth it.
