Added 08/23/10 Bait & Switch

My wife and I stopped by to have some drinks just after 9:30pm on a Saturday. Upon entering I noticed the sign out front that said $4 u call its. Having seen that I ordered a couple of drinks. The bartender brought them to us and said it would be $15. I mentioned the sign but didn't really want a confrontation because we were trying to have a good time. The bartender asked if we were locals (which we are) and then had something else to say after that but I could not hear her. I should have just refused to pay but again, I was trying to show my wife a good time. Regardless of my being local I was disgusted that she would ask me if I was local as if that would result in a change of price. It's just bad business to use these bait and switch tactics.
