European fusion is kicking up a storm in San Diego with Galileo 101, brining elegant dining and trendy nightlife atmosphere to this Southern California downtown district. Located in the west tower of the Harbor Club, this is the place to be.
Start off with a tempting plate of scallops, prepared with osso bucco, spinach, veal reduction and chive oil. Then move on toward an untraditional Caesar salad, full of romaine hearts, dry jack, chipotle Caesar, and grilled croutons.
Then get ready for a main course to remember with Loch Duart Salmon, prepared with spinach, wild mushrooms and buerre rouge.
Desserts change daily, but some traditional fare includes pana cotta, served with fruit, crème brulee, liquid chocolate cake, and white chocolate cup cakes.
