Besides the young and adorable staff, FRESH is a great date restaurant that adds a much needed vibe to downtown La Jolla. I had dinner there last night for the second time and I was not disappointed. Each time I have been with a group of 5 or more and not one person has had a complaint about their decisions. This is the perfect date location for multiple reasons. First of all, the menu is very user friendly. On the off chance you have a picky-eater amongst you, the menu offered Simply Grilled fish or Roasted Chicken that are quite delicious for the non-adventurous palate while offering more courageous dishes with interesting flavor combinations (i.e. Coriander crusted Mahi Mahi and Watermelon Gazpacho). The second reason is that FRESH has a knowledgeable and friendly staff. FRESH is easily accessible and there is valet parking in front of Jack's on Girard.
