Generous servings of authentic mexican food await at El Indio in the Old Town area. With over 25 specialty plates, there is a meal for everyone. Specialties include cheese, shredded chicken, or beef enchilladas doused in signature El Indio sauce. Each plate is garnished in grated mexican cheese and lettuce as well as a serving of rice, beans and El Indio's famous chips. Often times, visitors buy an entire bag of El Indio's chips seasoned in mexican spices to continue the fun at home.

 


El Indio is vegetarian friendly, with various menu items catering to the non-meat eating population--so nobody can deny a visit to this authentic Mexican eatery. Catering and special events are also available.

Something for Everyone

I am a native San Diegan and I have grown up on El Indio. The servings always fill me up. I have two boys, grown now but still love to come to El Indio with me. They are bottomless pits andthey fill up on the combination plates. Bring your family, you won't regret it!
