I've heard about Dick's Last Resort before. After all, their servers are famous for being rude so my friends and I went downtown to check it out. They definitely did not disappoint us. When I asked the server to take a picture of us, he ran around the restaurant taking pictures of himself with other customers. It is the most hilarious dining experience! The servers aren't rude to the point of making you upset, but rather to make you laugh. The food, on the other hand, is not spectacular and pretty overpriced. But I guess you're paying for the experience right? If you're looking for a laugh you have to check this place out!!

If you haven't heard, this is a different kind of dining experience. Basically, you are the entertainment of the evening as they berate you in front of family and friends. It's more fun then it sounds and they make a mean chicken fried steak.

Dick's is a fun restaurant with really good bbq food. This place is great for really large groups of people looking to have fun and let loose.

We went to Dick's Last Resort in Downtown for a birthday party. Actually have never been there so thought it would be an interesting experience. Firts thing that caught my eye was the claw game where you get to catch your own lobster for two bucks. The next thing that caught my attention were the hundreds of napkins scattered across the messy floor. This pretty much sums up the experience at Dick's Last Resort. A restaurant different from traditional dining. The servers are cranky and that's exactly what you expect them to be. Unfortunately the food wasn't too great and a bit overpricey. I had the catfish which was pretty much breaded fish and fries. But the experience made up for it. The paper wad wars between tables and the inappropriate messages the servers write on the place mats and wrap around their guests... For great food for a great price don't go to Dick's Last Resort. For a good time come on down to San Diego's craziest restaurant.
