Cucina Urbana

Now open in the heart of Banker's Hill, Cucina Urbana offers a reasonably-priced fine dining experience.  The restaurant is self-described as a Californian inspired Italian Kitchen and Bistro, and the menu reflects that ideology with items from traditional Bruschetta to the Carlsbad Mussels that features both chorizo and tomato and basil.  Other menu items include Linguine and Clams which boasts garlic, mint, fresno chile, and bottarga; the linguine is another Italian classic with a touch of Californian taste. The delicious menu never reaches over $20 for any one item with prices averaging around $15 a plate.  Cucina Urbana also proclaims their desire and commitment to serve their community with only reclaimed materials and promises to recycle cooking oils, paper and plastic whenever possible.
