Coronado Boathouse
Built in 1887, the Coronado Boathouse is an authentic Victorian structure that juts out onto the Glorietta Bay Marina. Not only does the two-story restaurant offer an unparalleled view of the bay, the Boathouse itself is a majestic sight to behold, with its myriad of twinkling lights reflected in the inky water.
The menu, just as classic as the architecture, is dominated by steaks and seafood. Fresh Alaskan King Crab, USDA Prime Filet Mignon, and Maine Lobster Tail are among the choicest entrée selections. But the most popular dish, the Macadamia Halibut, takes the show with its thick filet drenched in coconut milk baked under a layer of crushed macadamia nuts, and served with tropical rice pilaf.
After your plates are cleared, sit back and admire the marina against the backdrop of a gorgeous San Diego sunset.
