Ciro’s Pizzeria and Beerhouse
The brains behind downtown Ciro’s have partnered with PB pros at Olde City Grill to create new Garnet Avenue hot spot, Ciro’s Pizzeria & Beerhouse. The casual restaurant will serve Ciro’s signature New York-style pizza, in addition to Olde City Grill’s infamous Philadelphia-style cheesesteaks and a wide selection of draft and bottle beers. And we’re not just talking about Bud Lights; Ciro’s Pizzeria & Beerhouse will offer more than 22 tap handles ranging from local brew Sculpin IPA from Ballast Point to Belgian favorites Duvel and Delerium Tremens. What you can’t learn from the chalkboard beer menu, the on-staff experts will be happy to explain. More buzz-worthy perks include a Beer of the Month and a Beer Gauntlet beer club.
Order the Ciro’s Special with pepperoni, sausage, mushroom, green pepper, onion and extra cheese; Chicken Pesto with chicken, tomatoes, peso and mozzarella; or the Capistrano with bacon, meatball, green pepper, mushroom, garlic and parmesan cheese. If you’re craving a classic Philly, treat yourself to The Classic with American Kobe beef or chicken, American cheese, sharp provolone, grilled onions, and sautéed mushrooms. Once you place your order, kick back at a bar height table inside and catch the game on one of the venue’s many flat-screen TVs, or head outside on the patio and indulge in always-delightful Pacific Beach people watching.
