Step into culinary style at Chive, one of downtown’s favorite destinations for fresh and contemporary cuisine. The interior is stark yet trendy, with high ceilings, aluminum chairs, and benches crammed with cushions. The chefs possess as much artistic flair as they do gastronomic, as selections are a joy to behold (and to taste). Diverse land-based menu selections include free-range pork porterhouse atop marinated cabbage with white cheddar grits, duck nachos, Vietnamese braised port spring rolls, and Portobello carpaccio with soy-vinaigrette drizzle. Seafarers will enjoy the ahi tartar, the Hawaiian sunfish and the Alaskan snow crab macaroni and cheese. Instead of dessert, opt for a sweet yet deceivingly potent cantaloupe martini, made with real cantaloupe nectar.
