Cheesecake Factory’s motto is “something for everyone” – and the 20-page menu is proof that the chefs try to live up to it. The average 60-minute wait is evidence that the diners agree.
After an hourglass worth of a wait, you may be tempted to order appetizers, a full entrée, and dessert – but be warned: the portions are more than generous. However, if you do decide that you want something more than bread and butter as an appetizer, the avocado egg rolls and the bruschetta are divine. The abundance of available entrees - from the fresh, crunchy Santa Fe salad to the spicy, Thai chicken pasta- is apt to please everyone in your party.
And then, of course, there’s the cheesecake, which dominates the last two pages of the menu. You can close your eyes, circle your finger above the page, and order whatever you land on – and you’ll waddle away, very, very satisfied.
After several visits to Cheescake Factory in Mission Valley, I must say that they have a perfect record of serving out fine meals. I've been here for birthday dinners, graduation dinners, and general meals for the helluvit. Every time I visit, I try something new. The amazing thing about ordering something new each time is that I've never chosen an item I did not like or thought was not worth the money. The service while dining is on spot. The only bad thing I would have to say about Cheescake Factory is the long wait for parties to be seated. However, it makes sense for the wait to be long if the food and service is always top-notch.
i always get the shrimp scampi at ANY cheesecake factory. sometimes they make them sub-par, most times it's delicious - at the one in mission valley it's always yummy. i think they've been steadily raising the prices of the entress but there's always like a 1 hour wait, even on week nights, probably cause of all the students that live around the area.
