Cavaillon, an upscale restaurant located east of Rancho Santa Fe, serves up a palate-pleasing palette of Spanish, French and Italian dishes for the discerning diner. Formerly of La Jolla’s Tapenade , chef Philippe Vepiand named his new restaurant after the French city near his hometown. Offering a unique band of rural elegance, Cavaillon is a must-visit. Among the myriad delicious menu choices are the shrimp and lobster saffron risotto, the diver scallops with green apples and caramelized onions, and the crispy, "steak frites", flooding with flavor. The kitchen also will provide catering upon request. Cavaillon also encompasses an expansive wine bar for guests’ sitting and sipping pleasure.
