Cantina Mayahuel brings fresh San Diego style to the standard Mexican dining. Neither a fine dining establishment nor a basic corner taco-shop, the food and setting at the Cantina welcomes people of all dining desires. The menu is short and simple, but the quality is satisfying and unique. Meals are served on clay plates and the drinks arrive on authentic decorated tin trays from Mexico. The drink selection continues the homage to Mexico with traditional Mexican beer and wine and specialty Mexican coca-cola. The Cantina is known for serving a different special every day of the week, such as the popular homemade mole con pollo on Fridays. Cantina Mayahuel brings fine Mexican flavor for all to appreciate.
