Café 222 is a favorite among downtown dwellers for its chill atmosphere, incredible menu and ideal location with a street-side outdoor patio that overlooks the serene Marina District. Specialties include Tamales and Eggs – two pork tamales and two eggs topped with Mexican gravy, served with griddled potatoes and toast; Benedict Arnold – English muffins topped with spinach and tomatoes, poached eggs and hollandaise sauce, served with griddled potatoes, Orange Pecan Pancakes; Peanut Butter and Banana French Toast (as seen on The Food Network!); and Eggs Italia – a scramble of tomatoes, goat cheese and pesto, served with potatoes and focaccia, taters and toast.
