Busalacchi's, San Diego dining mogul Joe Busalacchi's namesake establishment, is twenty years old and still as tasty as ever. Management has been passed through the family along with award-winning recipes, and the restaurant’s time-tested Sicilian dishes will certainly please your palate. You can never go wrong with Caprese, a colorful mix of tomatoes, fresh Buffalo Mozzarella, basil and olive oil. The Salmon Allo Zafferano is creamy and delicious, and the Involtini Di Pesce Spada, breaded swordfish stuffed with shrimp and parmesan, is exquisite. If fish aren’t your thing, try the Pollo Dello Chef, chicken topped with prosciutto, mozzarella and tomatoes in a cream sauce. Ask your server to match your meal with a fine wine for sensational taste combinations.
