Opened by the experts of Indian cuisine, the
Monsoon group, the Bombay Restaurant departs from Monsoon's wide range of
conventional Indian fare to further explore the culinary arts of North India.
Glistening waterfalls, comprised of tiny streams of
dribbling water, divide the outside patio and interior, while the hallway, illuminated
by blue light and decorated with lotus buds, imaginatively replicates an Indian
river. As a final touch, dimly lit, but elaborate chandeliers dangle over two
floors providing a shade of mystery to the luxurious
décor.
As a prelude to your meal, you might want to try
the Pakora Starters, which vary depending on your choice of meat or vegetable,
or even banana, dipped in the signature lentil batter mildly spiced and deep
fried. Entrées may be limited to the North Indian regional
specialties of Biriyani (rice) and Tandoori (barbeque), but they make up for
the lack of variety in exceptional quality. On the Northern Frontier, we
recommend the Tandoori Chicken, marinated in yogurt sauce and fresh ginger. Bombay daringly makes use
of pungent herbs and spices to lend their dishes unique flavor and aroma,
resulting in the sharp tang of adventure and magic.
Open for lunch Monday - Sunday 11am-3pm; open for dinner Monday - Sunday 5pm-10pm
