Clean lines and deep earth tones that evoke scents of vanilla, olive oil, saffron, and dark chocolate pair with modern industrial interior design. Walsh’s personal blueprint is complete with an outdoor sidewalk patio, cosmopolitan lounge, and community dining room.
Walsh deviates from signature Latin and Asian infused tapas, ushering each new Bite with Northern Italian and French Bistro influences. With Italian, French, and California wines as well as 8 variations of house sake, each item on the menu is perfectly paired with the entrée of choice. And for guests in the mood for a lighter lift, Bite offers champagne happy hour preceding dinner. With Café W and Confidential thriving, Bite in Hillcrest surely is Walsh's next San Diego nightlife and dining success.

We recently moved back to San Diego - and are so happy that we stumbled across Bite. The food is amazing! Always fresh and the most unique flavors combined. I would not describe it as French. I think on Tues/Wed their pre-fix menu is roughly $20 and is amazing - I really think it is the best deal in town! Monday they have a discount wine promotion but have never gone to it.
