Baci Ristorante is famous for its rich selection of seafood and veal, prepared in classic Italian style. The Sea Bass Mungia, for example, is a thick fish steak smothered in a buttery sauce and served with scalloped potatoes. The thinly pounded, tender Veal Picatta, dipped in lemon dressing, is another favorite. Both specialties are popular choices, despite their absence from the menu. More traditional dishes include the Veal Marsala cooked in Marsala wine and the Veal Chop Lamberti, broiled in a roasted garlic sauce.


Located right across Mission Bay, Baci appears to be a small and modest Italian restaurant. A maroon canopy and white letters are all that identify the seemingly quiet restaurant. However, behind Baci Ristorante's heavy wooden double doors lies a world of old-fashioned decor; classic white tablecloths line the tables, and mahogany and glass furnish the bar.
