A graduate of the New England Culinary School in Vermont, Chef Jason Maitland was lured west to San Diego by the prospects of beautiful beaches, sunshine, and fresh produce. From junior to executive sous chef, and now to chef de cuisine, Maitland continues to build Arterra's reputation for inspired, unique, and modern cuisine.
The temporary, seasonal cuisine reflects the diverse, American culture, paired together with over 350 American wines carefully selected for display. A full bar, outdoor seating with fireplace, and an authentic vintage room creates an all-around unique atmosphere.
