Added 08/29/10 Once is enough.

Mostly empty early Sat Evening, but the service was still slow and inattentive. The food was Ok, fries were cold, burger was greasy. Hamburger bun was slimey and everything squished out.

Added 06/11/10 Best Happy Hour

I went in to check out the happy hour because I heard they had a great draft beer selection. I was not disappointed. 16 great beers on tap which are half off from 3-6.

Added 05/27/10 Just Look For Another Spot

I walked in with my 2 children and husband around 6 on a weekday. The place was empty. I can walk into any other place in Mission Valley during the week and it's got a good amount of people. Not here. It was hidden in the corner of Hazard Center first of all. Not the best location. The inside is ok, I can't complain about that, maybe a little boring (but TVs so the guys were able to watch sports). The menu looked filled, but was not impressive. It was cluttered, and provided no details about the meal really. I was on a diet so I ordered the white chili soup (they were beans in broth), and a salad. Why did I just pay 16 bucks for red leaf lettuce and spinach? Overall my soup and salad was $23. My husband ordered the chicken and mash..it looked nice..but just was not worth the 15 he payed. My kids got a cheese pizza and chicken nuggets. 1 small pizza and 5 nuggets with potato chips. So not worth it. Oh, and the gnats were great company! Service was not excellent either. You are much better off at another place...(any) other place.

Added 12/31/09 Waste of time

Prior to Holiday Bowl, we had reservations, place was maybe 40% full. After 1 hour waiting still no food nor any sign of food. We left. 60% empty and zero capacity. these guys won't be in business long, and not worth the time to try again.

Added 09/25/09 Don't bother!

We made reservations for 6 pm. Upon arrival, we asked for a table away from a noisy kid booth we were directed to. We were told by the hostess she'd bring dinner menus. Never came. Another staff approached a few minutes later, asking if we wanted water or wine; we said we'd like a menu. She said we had it. We said no, the prefix menu. She said she'd bring one. She proceeded to the bar and tended to customers there, completely ignoring us. We left after ten minutes with a bad taste in our mouths. The last restaurant that treated us like this has since closed. We mentioned our displeasure with the receptionist on the way out. We won't be back. Why bother?

Added 09/14/09 Not a good choice for Restaurant Week

My family and I went here for restaurant week since it was $20 per person for a 3 course meal. Sure sounds like a great deal but boy were we wrong. The place was not that crowded so we were seated right away. After looking at the menu for a couple minutes, we all quickly decided what we wanted since there are 3 choices each for the appetizer, main course, and dessert. Our red headed waitress came by and asked what drinks we wanted. We all ordered water and one person ordered a beer. Not long after that, our drinks were brought to us and we gave her our food orders. 4 of us ordered the portobello mushroom appetizer and 1 of us ordered the salad. We had asked for the goat cheese to be put on the side for two of the mushroom appetizers but we ended up not even having it at all on any of ours since they ran out of goat cheese. The quality of the appetizers was delicious though. When it was time for our main course to come out, we got swordfish, pork chop, and steak, but were missing an additional pork chop and steak. Since we expected the rest to come out soon, the three of us dug in to our dishes. The swordfish was edible. I wanted to taste seafood, not the ocean itself. As for the medium done steak, half of it was medium while the other half was well done. The texture was a bit mushy too similar to meatloaf. At least the pork chop was perfect. The waitress came by our table twice and mentioned the other food was coming right up. Right up to where I wonder. By the time the three of us finished our food, the other two were still sitting there starving and we were running low on water. I am an extremely slow eater compared to everyone I know and for the first time by default, I was not the last one who was full and done eating. We sat there for a while longer but gave up eventually. We walked up to the front and asked if we could pay for what we ate and cancel the rest. Although it was not the waitress's fault, she should/could have compe
