Bathed in white elegance and warmed with soft candlelight, Alexander’s on 30th is the central North Park dining spot for continental cuisine wrapped in romance. The marble countertops appear bright beside the stark white décor and a crisp and clean atmosphere results, creating the perfect palette. Begin with the grilled salmon over brie cheese appetizer and share a Greek goddess pizza with feta cheese, pepperoncini, fresh tomato, oregano, Greek olives, and artichokes. For the main course, the filet mignon and garlic shrimp proposes just the right balance; the filet is broiled and topped with a wild mushroom port wine sauce and garlic shrimp, served with roasted potatoes. Subtle tans and silver lining accent the white room, and the outdoor patio is one of the area’s best for a romantic dinner for two.
