Alchemy Restaurant
Part restaurant, bar and art gallery, Alchemy radiates with the positive and charming energy of the surrounding South Park community. Alchemy is a highly sustainable, locally owned and operated restaurant that is undoubtedly one of the most sophisticated neighborhood hot spots in all of San Diego. Boasting competitive prices, rotating local artwork, and a host of charitable programs with elementary schools, Alchemy is loved by locals for the unique atmosphere and delicious culture fare. Alchemy provides two separate menus, one for brunch and one for dinner. Some of our favorite menu items, designed by Chef Ricardo Heredia, include Chicken & Dumplings, confit Jidori chicken leg and thigh with baby carrots, pearl onions, and baby celery accompanied by buttermilk dumplings, and The Burger – Estancia Farms grass fed beef, a slice of Mahon cheese, house cured pickles, red leaf lettuce, tomatoes, and onions with Parmesan frites. Alchemy has a fine selection of liquor. Their dishes are made fresh everyday and use only the best ingredients. They have hand picked some of their favorite and lesser known liquors for your taste buds. One of their experts, Ray McKay, chose a healthy selection of bourbons, whiskeys, and scotches that would please any whiskey connoisseur. Alchemy also has delicious classic cocktails and creates concoctions that are unique to this restaurant. A breath of fresh air, Alchemy has food that is inspired, an outstanding wine selection, warm and inviting decor, and top of the line service. Do yourself a favor and pay them a visit, you won’t be disappointed!
