AIRR Supper Club - CLOSED
AIRR is a swanky new supper club in downtown San Diego that is divided into two sleek monochromatic spaces inside, the red room for cocktails and mingling; and the white room for social dining. The walls, the long family-style booths, the floors; everything is white hot, drawing your full attention to the food. AIRR welcomes new Executive Chef Brian Redzikowski, a New York native who has worked in top restaurants such as Nobu Matsuhisa, Le Cirque 2000 and Joel Robuchon.
AIRR's new menu emphasizes fresh local ingredients and unpredictable product combinations. Designed to reflect owner Amy Noel’s social dining vibe, the menu offers a simple selection of outstanding dishes to share. A few of my favorite new items include the Tuna Tacos with guacamole, crème friache, micro cilantro; Loup De Mer with tempura, serrano, micro cilantro, onion, and sweet ponzu; Jidori Breast with morels, fava beans, morel froth; and Wagyu Rib-Eye with shallot jam, brussels, arugula, and maître d’butter. Best of all, the new diet-breaking-worthy desserts are absolutely sinful. Order two to share: Caramel Budino with crème friache and sea salt; and Bomboloni with macerated fruit and mint.
