Editorial Review of Winston's

This classic club/ concert venue is an old San Diego favorite. Winston's, located in chill Ocean Beach and only two blocks away from the actual water, is simultaneously a go-to for live music lovers, a community center that displays local art, and a neighborhood bar that opens at 10:00 a.m. on Sundays to the joy of faithful, football watching patrons. Winston's retains much of the sixties nostalgia and alternative artsy-ness that permeate ocean beach and because of this, the club always manages to have a relaxed and open vibe, regardless of who's on the roster. Definitely worth checking out, this venue features nightly concerts made up of a constantly diverse selection of musicians. Every Wednesday, during the Ocean Beach farmer's market, which occurs right down the street on Newport Avenue around 4:00, Winston's also turns into a local art gallery, showcasing a funky, modern, and eclectic collection of art.

Every time i come here everyone who works here has a shitty attitude. Security here seems to be overwhelmed all the time. If you are around someone who does something they are not suppose to do, you will get kicked out as well just because your near that person. The bartender only wants to attend you if your white. If your any other race, good luck trying to get service!..
