Wine Steals stands strong in a simple concept of wine tasting in San Diego: to combine wine buying with tasting in a casual, fun atmosphere. Wine Steals brings this concept to life through colorful windowpanes, European bar settings, and casual lounge seating. The new East Village Wine Steals is a two-story wine bar and lounge with an incredible location at PETCO Park. Weekly specials at Wine Steals East Village include: $5 Tuesday tastings 5:30-7:00pm; No corkage Mondays with $2 slices of pizza; Happy Hour 7 days a week, 4-7pm - $4 glasses of wine, $2 slices; Saturday tasting, $10 from 4-6:30pm; Sunday 1/2 off wine flights for $10 while supplies last.

There are currently four San Diego Wine Steals locations: Hillcrest, Point Loma, Cardiff-by-the-Sea, and the newest in East Village. Visit all San Diego wine bars for weekly specials and wine tasting events.

The happy hour is pretty darn awesome. And a fun place to hang out at before/after a padres game.

I am slowly trying to acquire a taste for wine and this is the most helpful place I have been to. Being able to taste the wine before buying it is a huge plus in my book. Everything that has been recommended to me so far, I have enjoyed.

I love Wine Steals and their happy hour is great! $4 glasses of wine and $2 slices of pizza...its amazing! Their pizza is really good too. This is a fun place to get together with friends on the weekends or weeknights.

The food was delicious, especially the fried macaroni! A friend and I shared the "everything" platter that consists of meat, cheeses, and bread... we only ordered the half size and even that was too much! Can't wait to go back!
