Tonight I went out with some friends. On our way out the security gaurds had somebody on the ground. I dont know what the situation was or how it got started. All I know is that I heard one of the securit gaurds tell the man on the floor that he & I quote "HAVE YOU ON THE GROUND BECAUSE I HATE FAGGOTS" & kept reffering tothe man on the ground as "THIS FUCKER" I will never set foot in Mo's again until something is done bout the brutality. Security gaurds are supposed to make sure biggot homosexual hating people do not come in, be them. Expressing their hatred towards the gay community. I have lived in Hillcrest for many years & never have i been so insulted. I will tell my friends & they will tell theirs and so on and so on until something is done.
Conclusion
The bartender & waiters, food and beverage is great. But the actions & the horrible language of the security personell should not have to be tolerated.
"Bigotness" toward gay individualsFirst, anyone who cannot spell "guard" correctly when used FOUR times in an internet posting should refrain from using such high level vocabulary terms. Perhaps replacing "duh" for "guard" on the next posting excursion might serve the author of the 7/22/07 post and her academically strained intelligence to a greater extent.
Second, my wife was a resident of San Diego (specifically, in Hillcrest) and she says that the actions that were described by our alphabetically challenged friend from 7/22/07 post would be totally out of character for that vicinity. So...did it happen as previously reported? Well, gentle reader, all we can say is that this venue (formerly known as Hamburger Mary's) had, according to my wife, a good vibe, was comfortable, and served it's patrons in an appropriate fashion.
