U 31 Cocktail Lounge and Bar

U-31 is located right in the heart of North Park, which means it's a good place to go after Ray at Night, after having dinner somewhere, coffee, et cetera. Also, it's located near 24-hour Mexican food, so what more do you want? U-31 has different music themed nights to keep everyone happy, decently priced drinks, and offers a good time without being uptight. It's a good place to go if you just want to relax and have a drink, hang out and play pool, or dance (without the hassle and price of nightclubs!)

So I came here to watch one of my friend's bands play, WestFire, a couple months ago and the place was bumpin! The first thing that caught my attention was all the sweet art they have up on the walls. I thought their selection was right up my alley! Also the music is always great, they have a pool table, and sweet booths to hang out in. I've recently been back numerous times now and I've seen when they have DJ's play and those nights are always off the chain! Definitely check this place out!!

great vibes, good place to hang with friends, really good dance floor right in front of the DJ booth, happy hour every day! 5-9 $3-$5 specials (for good stuff!) I love it here, i go weekly!

If you aren't into the whole vibe of Gaslamp I would definitely recommend U 31 in North Park. This place has a unique and welcoming style to it and you don't have to fork over a ton of cash for drinks.

U 31 is a great little spot in North Park. Still relatively unknown, they've got a great decor and very friendly staff. Free pool is a definite plus, and I hear they do karaoke on Tuesday nights for those into that scene. Easy to get to, lots of nearby parking (park in the B of A lot across the street after 5pm) and cheaper drink prices than Downtown, make this a spot to check out.
