Each night, Typhoon Saloon throws Pacific Beach’s most boisterous party. The ultimate atmosphere for casual clubbing, Typhoon is a tempest to vivacious light shows, rocking tunes, happy crowds, and cheesy decorations. Most partiers arrive early from the nearby beach, and sit down to eat meals from Big Bertha’s Fish Joint, or the adjoining Fred’s Mexican Café. At night, lines can be long, but there’s plenty of room for all in this cavernous nightclub, which often hosts big-hair eighties cover bands, fashion shows, and other memorable events to keep the crowds packing in.
