Tivoli Bar

Many partiers appreciate the Tivoli Bar as a respite from all the craziness and hype surrounding the Gaslamp bar scene. Tivoli is a great venue to duck into when you need a breather from all the heels and cologne floating around downtown.

Tivoli is actually the oldest bar downtown and, over the past few years, has been revamped to exhibit some of its former glory- including the huge mahogany bar that was refurbished. The bar is open from early afternoon until a standard two a.m., but with such cheap beer and fantastic deals on shots, customer's might not mind spending the whole day here. The bar features pool tables, a juke box, and occasional live music. Tivoli is not considered trendy by downtown standards, but, after all these years, it still manages to draw an impressive crowd each weekend.
