The Tilted Kilt is an Irish themed sports bar that sits, literally, on PETCO Park, making it the perfect San Diego bar for pre and post Padres game fun. While located within the picturesque DiamondView Towers building, The Tilted Kilt denies all glam and keeps it simple with a Hooters atmosphere spiced up with Irish flair. Cocktail servers sport sassy kilts, and with flowing beer on tap and an endless assortment of greasy appetizers and bar fare, The Tilted Kilt has certainly found its niche in the East Village. When heading here on Padres home game days or nights, prepare for a line out the door. We recommend grabbing your tickets early and heading to the bar with plenty of time to spare. People watch as the lines grow around the ticket booth and bar door – while you sip your frosty pint in peace and watch the pre-game show.

My friends and I really had to check out this place and this is my review; Pros -Tons of Hot waitresses in "school-girl stye attire" -Lots of Tv's -Did I say hot waitresses in "school-girl stye attire"? Cons -Overpriced everything ($7 Beer!?!) -No easy viewing of Tvs -Cheap looking (think Bennigans meets Hooters) -No authentic Scottish anything (Scotch, Beer, Flair, Design, Food)
Conclusion

Why go here? Just go to a strip club.

A little hesitant at first, turned out to be great! Server was really friendly and got everything right... seemed to keep it as classy as you can in a "school girl-esque" outfit....drinks were a little pricey-but it IS downtown. Food was a lot better than expected.
Conclusion

If your looking for authentic -its not. If your looking for a cool sports bar -it is.

This place is basically worthless. It's right by my house and my work, so I've gone a few times for drinks, once for lunch, and once to watch a UFC fight. First off, whatever you do, do NOT go here during a UFC fight or any other big sporting event. Even if you get there more than an hour early, you will be standing the entire time you are there. They will take your cover charge and write down your name and phone number, pretending like they'll be seating you soon. With plenty of open tables when you arrive, you figure that you'll be sitting comfortably any minute. Trust me, this is a complete scam and there is no chance you will be seated. I've been at the top of the list with several visibly open tables and was never seated in 3 hours. Apparently, they were reserved for "friends of the owners", but it seems pretty clear they are just trying to sucker people into the place with the prospect of actually getting a table. By the time I left, they had 50+ names on the list and plenty of ticked off people standing around. Moreover, the food is pretty horrible and almost none of the scantily clad waitresses are hot whatsoever. I had a Philly cheese steak here that was completely inedible with disgusting meat. The Nachos are sub-par too. I've actually had better nachos at a movie theater. The only thing worth eating here was the pizza, but then again I had several beers before eating that, so who knows...
Conclusion

There are way too many good establishments within a 5 minute walk from this place for me to go here ever again.
