The Zombie Lounge is one of the few bars in all of San Diego able to truly lay claim to the title rock venue. Sure, plenty of establishments raise their proverbial metal symbols by booking bands hailing from the rock genre; but really, how many adhere to the adage: Anyone who won't puke all over the floor is welcome?
This ain't your mother's bar. Between the owner, bartenders, patrons, and bands, there's enough ink to intimidate even the hardest of hardcore bar flies. But don't be fooled by the clientele's tough posterior. Much like the Lounge itself, with its unsuspecting storefront, it's what inside that counts. And at the Zombie Lounge, you'll be hard pressed to find a more genuine group of rabble-rousers with which to share an evening of stiff drinks and all the rockabilly, psychobilly, punk, metal, and rock your ears can handle.
