A trip to the Shanty always makes for a pleasurable and interesting experience. The Shanty is one of those dives of all dives you can walk into and instantly make friends - or at least get a new friend to buy you a drink. A highly eclectic crowd ranging from 40-something pool sharks to grungy 20-something hipsters, So shanty on over to the Shanty to shoot some pool, play darts or chain-smoke cigarettes in their covered smoking lounge while chatting away with the old-school Cardiff crew.

I really like this place. It is a local bar and it is really fun to hang out with friends and play some pool. The drinks are cheap and good. Great place to unwind from the week.
